Plattnerite, Darreh-Zandvir, Yazd, Iran. On a white hydrozincite matrix measuring 5 × 3 × 2 cm, a zinc hydroxycarbonate, several crystallised patches of black plattnerite, a lead oxide. Collected by Pierre and Nelly Bariand at the site, donated by Pierre Bariand. Without Pierre Bariand’s label, this was part of a batch comprising several specimens.
