Plattnerite, Darreh-Zandvir, Yazd, Iran. On a white hydrozincite matrix measuring 7 × 5 × 2.5 cm, a zinc hydroxycarbonate, several crystallised patches of black plattnerite, a lead oxide. Collected on site by Pierre and Nelly Bariand, donated by Pierre Bariand. Without Pierre Bariand’s label, this was part of a batch comprising several specimens.
